BUNNELL, Fla. (WFLA) — Flagler County Sheriff's Office K-9 Kyro passed after an undiagnosed heart condition in the emergency hospital on Wednesday.

Deputies escorted Kyro back from the emergency hospital to Flagler County after his tragic passing in the line-of-duty.

"K-9 Kyro, you left paw prints on our hearts that will never fade," FCSO said.

Next week, a memorial service will be held for Kyro.
