TEMPE, AZ (AZFamily) — A fourth suspect has been arrested in connection with the murder of an East Valley man who was shot and killed at an apartment complex more than two years ago.

Court documents obtained by Arizona’s Family revealed that 24-year-old Kandren Deguan Shaw was arrested on Wednesday and faces charges of conspiracy to commit murder, and first-degree murder for the death of Luiz Torres-Zuniga.

Police said the shooting happened on May 12, 2023 , at the Asteria Apartment, near University Drive and Smith Road.

At the time, police said that officers arrived and found bullet holes covering the front door, where they found two men inside. Authorities asked Torres-Zuniga who he thought was behind the shooting, and he said his ex-girlfriend, then-30-year-old Amber Cruz.
