PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A storm system way north of Arizona is still pumping in some relatively cool air. However, that’s moving away and in its place, a ridge of high pressure will build in from Mexico.
As it does, we’ll start warming things up this weekend and by early next week, probably see a couple of days with highs in the 90s. That’s about average for this time of year. Seasonal temperatures will also be the norm for the rest of the state.
There is a cut-off low spinning our way from the Pacific and could bring us minor rain chances mainly to the mountains of Arizona by the middle of next week. As with all cut-off lows, the timing and strength of any storm is usually difficult to predict this far out.
