BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - The Coast Guard and Baton Rouge emergency crews are investigating a possible mayday call from a boat on the Mississippi River near River Road and Farr Park.

The Coast Guard is leading the investigation, but was unable to provide details when reached Thursday afternoon. Emergency crews including EMS and Baton Rouge Fire were on standby to help.
