BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Detectives have arrested a suspect in connection with the deadly shooting that left a 29-year-old man dead outside a barbershop on Platt Drive.

According to the Baton Rouge Police, the shooting happened around 5:49 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15, in the 9700 block of Platt Drive. Officers found Marvin Tolliver, 29, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators say the shooting stemmed from an argument between a patron and an employee inside the barbershop. Detectives identified Sylvester Bouligny III as a suspect, alleging that he left the shop and returned with two other men. The group confronted the employee, and Bouligny attacked him.
