Manslaughter charges laid over St James sudden death

Sticking with news from WA Police, and Homicide Squad Detectives have charged a 33-year-old man from Carlisle with manslaughter following an investigation into a sudden death.

About 4:50pm Tuesday, police received a report of an unresponsive man at a residence on Palmerston Street in St James.

Officers and St John WA attended, where a 25-year-old man was found unresponsive and declared dead at the scene.

The 33-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder and was charged with manslaughter on Friday morning.

He is due to appear is Perth Magistrates Court today.
