NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — UA–Pulaski Technical College and the Arkansas Aerospace and Defense Alliance officially launched a new avionics training program Thursday, backed by a $2.5 million workforce grant aimed at filling a growing need for skilled aviation technicians in Arkansas.
The announcement took place at the UA-PTC Aerospace Technology Center in North Little Rock, where industry leaders, college officials and students gathered to mark the program’s start. The funding comes from the HIRED Grant for the Aerospace Center of Excellence and was secured with support from companies such as Dassault Falcon Jet and Arcturus Aerospace.
