LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- Las Vegas is preparing for large protests against the Trump administration over the weekend.
8 News Now asked Las Vegas Mayor Shelley Berkley about city readiness ahead of those demonstrations during her news conference on Thursday.
“While we're celebrating the Aces and the parade, we're going to have protests going on, so I think Metro is going to be very stretched this weekend,” she responded.
Following the mayor’s comment, 8 News Now asked the Las Vegas Metro police to comment on their preparedness.
