Electronic Arts’ (EA) latest shooter, Battlefield 6, has stormed to the biggest launch in the franchise’s history, selling over seven million copies in just three days.
The milestone puts the game on par with blockbuster releases from rival series Call of Duty.
Released on October 10 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S, Battlefield 6 has also seen more than 172 million online matches played during its opening weekend and over 15 million hours of streaming watched.
The game marks a major comeback for the Battlefield series, which struggled with disappointing launches for Battlefield V (2018) and Battlefield 2042 (2021).
