VERMILLION, S.D. (KTIV) - For the past 80 years, a family-owned business, now known as Masaba , has continued to grow, making conveyors and material handling equipment.
On Thursday, Oct 16, the Vermillion, South Dakota-based company, along with members of the community, gathered to celebrate its latest expansion.
The new 147,500 square foot facility is now the home for Masaba’s steel and metal fabrication production.
Through the facility, the company is able to add additional welding and assembly bays, increasing production.
The new facility created over 27,500 square feet of office space, conference rooms, break areas, and employee amenities like a workout room.
This new facility allowed Masaba to create 50 jobs.
