Chief Minister, Conrad K Sangma, today, chaired a meeting with Rangbah Shnongs, faith-based organisations, community leaders and educationists to discuss and find solutions and prevent crimes against women and children.
Giving his opening remarks Chief Minister, Conrad K Sangma, said that crimes against women and children are serious and a grave human right violation. Welcoming the participants to the very critical meeting and soliciting suggestions and the way forward the Chief Minister said, “Government and society must work together with a coordinated multi pronged approach to protect women and children ensuring a safe and happy life and environment for them.”
