ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) -The man accused of killing and then burying the body of Tange Davis, a St. Louis native, appeared in court Thursday evening for the first time.
Police said Cecil McCrary, 56, of Mableton, Georgia, admitted to killing her. McCrary and Davis had been in a romantic relationship.
A Georgia judge Thursday night denied bond for McCrary. McCrary’s next hearing will be on Nov. 12, when a superior court judge will decide if he is “entitled” to a bond.
McCrary was charged with felony murder in Davis’ death. He also faced charges of aggravated assault, hiding a body and two theft charges related to Davis’ disappearance.
According to a release from the Cobb County Police Department, on Oct. 11 at around 6:55 p.m., police were called to a Lidl grocery store in Mablet
