PONTIAC – Over the years, Detroit Country Day and Macomb Lutheran North have played many epic battles on the soccer pitch.

Detroit Country Day, ranked second in the state in Division 3, advance to the district finals with a 6-0 victory over Lutheran North in a district semifinals match at Pontiac Notre Dame Prep.

Detroit County Day will face top-ranked and defending state champion Notre Dame Prep in the district finals. The Yellowjackets (14-2-3) now own a 66-19 scoring edge this season.
