LONDON, Ky. (WYMT) - South Laurel got back in the win column after losing to Pulaski County last week, knocking off Southwestern for the first time since 2006, 43-20.

The Cardinals got on the board first, thanks to a field goal from approximately 30 yards out.

From there, South Laurel would add on 40 more points. This contest was the fifth time this season that John Hines’ crew scored at least 40.

The Cardinals head to North Laurel to face the Jaguars at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 24 for their regular season finale.

Southwestern travels to Pulaski County for a 7:30 kick on Oct. 24. This is the second of three consecutive road tilts to end the season for Jason Foley’s crew.
