: The Singapore Police Force (SPF) has urged the public to refrain from spreading speculation and false information regarding the death of singer and actor Zubeen Garg, as online rumours continue to circulate about the circumstances of his passing.

In an official statement, the SPF confirmed that preliminary investigations do not indicate any foul play in Garg’s death. The case is being investigated under the Coroners Act 2010, and the findings will be presented to the State Coroner once the investigation concludes — a process that could take up to three more months.

“The SPF is aware of speculation and false information circulating online regarding the circumstances of Mr Zubeen Garg’s death,” the statement said. “We urge the public not to speculate and spread unverified information.”
