The Singapore Police Force on Friday said it does not suspect foul play in the death of singer Zubeen Garg following preliminary investigations in the matter.
It added that the probe may take up to three more months to complete, following which the findings will be submitted to the State Coroner, a judicial officer, who will determine whether the matter requires a Coroner’s Inquiry.
The outcome of such an inquiry, if held, will be made public.
“The SPF is committed to conducting a thorough and professional investigation into the case, and this takes time,” the police force said in a statement. “We seek the patience and understanding of the parties involved.”
