SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) - We are in the final days of our Fall heatwave, as a cold front will arrive on Saturday. Severe weather, including the risk for damaging wind, large hail, and isolated tornadoes, is expected.

A hot and muggy Friday: Our morning temperatures will be in the 60s under mostly clear to partly cloudy skies. Temperatures will warm into the upper 80s and low 90s this afternoon with a slow rise in humidity through tonight. The warm and muggy airmass will set the stage for strong to severe thunderstorms as it clashes with the incoming front tomorrow.
