Keith Urban was forced to cancel one of his shows and put on “complete vocal rest” because of laryngitis.
The illness forced the “Blue Ain’t Your Color” singer to cancel his performance at Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina on Thursday night, Oct. 16.
A statement from the venue indicated that Urban’s laryngitis started earlier in the week.
“He has been placed on complete vocal rest and Dr. Garrett is optimistic that he will be back onstage for his Nashville show,” the venue wrote. “If you purchased tickets through Ticketmaster, refunds will be issued automatically; there is nothing further ticketholders need to do. If you purchased from a third-party reseller, please reach out to your point of purchase.”
Urban, 57, also apologized to fans for the cancelation.
