SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) – Fall foliage across New York State is reaching its peak, with many areas now past peak, showcasing a vibrant array of colors.

The Adirondacks region is experiencing significant foliage change. Areas like Plattsburgh and Lake Placid are already past peak and displaying muted seasonal colors.

In the Capital-Saratoga region, places such as Saratoga Springs are at peak with bright yellow, orange, and red leaves.

Meanwhile, the Catskills are showing vivid reds, oranges, and purples, especially in higher elevations like Liberty.
