FERGUS FALLS, Minn. — The Fergus Falls girls tennis team advanced to the Minnesota state tournament for the first time as a program.

The Otters defeated Becker 5-2 in the Section 8-2A team championship on Friday, Oct. 10.

“Our team showed up ready to play,” said Fergus Falls head coach Jamie Lill . “The girls were driven and had in their heads that we belonged there, and took care of business.”

The Otters are ranked No. 10 among Class 2A teams in the Minnesota Tennis Coaches Association polls.
