Awantipora- The Department of Journalism and Mass Communication (DJMC), Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST), organised an educational trip for Journalism and Mass Communication students to Namblan, Pulwama.

The visit aimed to provide hands-on learning in landscape photography and videography, allowing students to apply classroom concepts in real-world settings. Guided by faculty members, students practiced techniques of framing, lighting, composition, and motion capture, gaining insight into the creative and technical aspects of visual storytelling.

Faculty noted that such field-based exercises strengthen professional skills, creativity, and teamwork that are key for experiential learning approach recommended by NEP 2020
