HORSEHEADS, N.Y. (WETM) — A Horseheads man was arrested in October on a felony charge relating to the alleged abuse of several minor victims, according to information from the New York State Police.
Kenneth G. Morales, 29, was arrested on Wednesday, Oct. 8, on the charge of predatory sexual assault, a class A-II felony.
Morales' arrest comes after an investigation that started in August, after information was presented to police about the sexual abuse of several minor victims.
State police gathered information on the historic sexual abuse that took place in both Chemung and Schyler counties. State police talked with victims and conducted forensic interviews at the Chemung County Child Advocacy Center. During these interviews, Morales was identified as the suspect, troopers said.
