MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS, Ohio — Polaris Career Center is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a Halloween-themed open house that invites families to explore careers, enjoy treats and tour the campus.

The free “Trick-or-Trade” community event will take place Thursday, Oct. 30, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Polaris Career Center, 7285 Old Oak Blvd. The evening will include candy, giveaways, demonstrations, hands-on activities, self-guided tours and a live DJ. Costumes are welcome.

Doug Miller, director of marketing and community engagement for Polaris, said the idea to blend the anniversary celebration with a Halloween theme grew out of the school’s mission to reach younger students and their families.
