COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Playing at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison, Wisconsin has never happened how Carson Hinzman figured it would.

When he was a freshman in high school at Saint Croix Central, his team lost the 2018 state title game 8-7 in heartbreaking fashion after a allowing last-second touchdown. Five years later, he returned to Madison with Ohio State as the Buckeyes’ starting center. Years later, he evaluated his play that night as, “Rough.”

It was all at the stadium he figured, for the majority of his life, that he’d play his college football at. But it didn’t turn out that way.
