NEW YORK (WABC) -- If you love nature and animals, art or architecture, history, or just those types of things you'll find only in New York, you'll want to check out Open House New York Weekend.

"Open House New York Weekend is a buffet of opportunities for the city. We really specialize in giving the public access to typically off-limits places or off the radar places. We're in our 23rd year. We are opening up 340 buildings across the city. 150 of those sites are available for free on drop-in access," said Kristin Labuz, Open House New York.

Places like the last surviving Ellis Island ferry or the Sign Museum.
