SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) -- A segment of the TRAX Green Line, as well as a section of North Temple, will shut down this weekend due to construction, according to the Utah Dept. of Transportation (UDOT) and Utah Transit Authority (UTA).

On Oct. 18-19, all stops between North Temple Bridge/Guadalupe Station and Airport Station on the TRAX Green Line will be suspended while UDOT crews work on the I-215 bridge at North Temple. Regular TRAX Green Line service will resume on Oct. 20.

Construction crews will build a temporary deck under the bridge to safely catch debris and other materials during demolition, UDOT said.

If you need access to stops on the Green Line in this area during this time, UTA will reportedly run buses between the North Temple Bridge/Guadalupe Station and Airport stations.
