The crowd at the Willoughby Stadium in Langley was electric as the Vancouver Rise FC Academy dominated Alianza Women 8-nil on Thursday (Oct. 16).
One fan could be heard yelling, “You got this, queen,” to a Rise FC player as she made her way up the pitch.
The Rise FC Academy held possession 42.4 per cent of the time, took 18 shots, 13 of which were on goal. The Alianza Women held possession for 57.6 per cent, took two shots, both on goal.
