On Wednesday night, a man in his 40s died after being hit by a vehicle, and on Thursday morning, a woman in her 80s was killed in a separate incident.

A third pedestrian has died after being struck by a vehicle in Calgary over the past two days.

Police were called to the intersection of Woodpark Boulevard and 117 Avenue S.W. just after 8:30 p.m. Thursday.

A woman was crossing Woodpark Boulevard S.W., at the intersection of 117 Avenue S.W., when she was struck by a 2016 Subaru BRZ, operated by a 20-year-old man, who was travelling northbound on Woodpark Boulevard S.W.

The woman died at the scene. The driver was not injured and remained at the scene..
