A brand new Marshalls store could soon be opening near you.

TJX, which also oversees T.J. Maxx , HomeGoods, Sierra, and HomeSense stores, touts itself as an "off-price retailer of apparel and home fashions." According to its website, the company was founded in 1976 and operates stores in nine countries across three continents. The company said in its second-quarter earnings report that it owned and operated 1,340 T.J. Maxx locations.

Marshalls is opening nine stores across multiple states in late October and mid-November, according to its website, more than a year after TJX CEO Ernie Herrman announced a goal of opening at least 1,300 additional locations globally across the TJX portfolio of stores.
