An 83-year-old father from Virginia has been missing for a month, but his son hasn’t given up hope that he’ll be found safe.

On Tuesday, Sept. 16, around 10 a.m. local time, Theo Ever Loving was last seen at the 1900 block of New Market Road in Henrico County, the Henrico County Police Division said in a statement on social media.

“He may be traveling on foot and there are concerns for Mr. Loving’s well-being,” officials said at the time.

In the days before Loving disappeared from his home, his son, Joshua Loving, told CBS affiliate WTVR that he was acting strangely.
