CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WV News) — A 36-year-old Clarksburg man was sentenced to over two years in federal prison Friday for distribution of fentanyl.

Northern West Virginia Chief U.S. District Judge Thomas S. Kleeh sentenced Deaundre Dontae Hall to 26 months for fentanyl distribution alleged to have taken place Oct. 11, 2023.

The court also imposed a three-year term of supervised release that commences once Hall's prison term ends.

Hall received credit for about 13 months served pending prosecution.

In the fall of 2023, agents from the Greater Harrison Drug & Violent Crimes Task Force agents and the Clarksburg Police Department's Special Response Team raided Hall's residence in the city.
