Syracuse, N.Y. — When Felisha Legette-Jack looks at the banners in the Carmelo K. Anthony Basketball Center, she’s reminded that the expectation is always to win a championship. The head coach implored that players who disagree should walk out of the gym.

But even coming off a 12-18 campaign, which was the first time Legette-Jack failed to win 20 games since taking over as Syracuse’s head coach in 2022, she didn’t consider last season a down year.
