TEMPLE, Texas — The City of Temple is hosting an event to help citizens safely dispose of hazardous materials.
From 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25, the City will host a Household Hazardous Waste Collection event at the Temple Solid Waste Complex, located at 2611 E. Ave. H in Temple.
The event will give attendees a chance to dispose of a variety of hazardous materials, including chemicals, electronics, flammables, paint, tires and more, according to the City.
The event will be a contactless drive-thru and attendees are asked to stay in their cars, the City said. Materials must be five gallons or less per container, with a maximum of 15 gallons accepted per person, according to the City. Containers will reportedly not be returned.
