Napa Valley’s Mayacamas Vineyards is introducing its new 2023 Chardonnay alongside a re-release of its acclaimed 2013 Chardonnay.

In addition, the storied California producer is debuting its 2022 Merlot, paired with a re-release of its 2012 Merlot.

The process isn’t anything new: Mayacamas traditionally releases its latest vintages alongside corresponding wines that are 10 years older, offering a unique side-by-side tasting experience.

“I am incredibly excited about both of these new releases,” Braiden Albrecht, the winemaker at Mayacamas since 2013, said in a release. “2023 was an incredible vintage, with consistent, moderate weather that allowed us to really showcase the site-specific nuance of our Chardonnay blocks.
