NORTH HAVEN, Conn. (WFSB) - A body was found inside a home in North Haven on Friday afternoon, according to police.

Authorities went to a house near 100 Sackett Point Road after receiving the report of a possible dead body inside.

Upon arrival, police confirmed the report.

Officials said it was too early to determine whether foul play was involved.

“Investigators are working to gather all necessary facts, and we will provide updates as they become available,” said North Haven police.

Police said there was no threat to the public.
