Jake Haro, the father of a missing and presumed dead 7-month-old boy, pleaded guilty to all charges, including murder, on Thursday, Oct. 16.
He faces 25 years to life in prison when he is sentenced Nov. 3.
Haro and his wife, Rebecca Haro, are accused of killing their son, Emmanuel, and making a false police report of a kidnapping in August.
Investigators later said they found inconsistencies in the report and arrested the couple on Aug. 22.
In addition to pleading guilty to murder and filing the false report, Jake Haro, 32, also pleaded guilty to the forcible assault of Emmanuel, a felony.
His lawyers did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
Charges against Rebecca Haro, 41, are still pending.
