CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) - SEMO homecoming weekend is already underway, and Cape Girardeau Police and the SEMO Department of Public Safety officers are working together to keep everyone safe.
Homecoming is a highlight of Southeast Missouri State University’s first semester.
That’s why DPS Director, Dr. Rich Flotron, says visitors will see more law enforcement on campus than in years past.
“We collaborate with the city of Cape Girardeau for parade safety, and then we also collaborate with the city for after-game activities. and then we also have collaborated with Cape County Sheriff’s Department for additional security for the game,” Dr. Flotron says.
