LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - Over the last few weeks districts have been doing bulky item pickup, but there is a chance to drop off those items this weekend.

Do you have any large items you want to get rid of, but the landfill is too far from your house?

Tomorrow, Saturday, October 18, Laredo residents will have the opportunity to drop off bulky trash items at the city’s Recycling Drop-Off Center.

Accepted items include tires, appliances, box springs, electronics, and more.

No hazardous waste or liquids will be accepted, and you must be able to unload the items yourself. Items can be dropped off tomorrow at 2200 McPherson Avenue from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. You just need to provide proof of residency with your license and a water bill.
