FORT HOOD, Texas (KWTX) - Soldiers on Fort Hood don’t have to leave the installation for a popular form of self-expression anymore.

Starting now, Fort Hood soldiers won’t even have to leave post to get some ink.

They can get that done right on post at Final Touch Tattoo, located inside of an Exchange.

Since the 1940’s AAFES, the Army Air Force Exchange Service, has been known for bringing shopping and food options to military installations around the world

In recent years, they have expanded to other services and the latest to hit Fort Hood is a tattoo shop.

“We do have a dental clinic and cryotherapy, but the tattoo is another aspect of providing a health service,” said Stephen Shaw, General Manager of AAFES on Fort Hood.” Quality that’s overseen by Army public health.”
