CAMDEN COUNTY — A Windsor man will spend seven years in the Missouri Department of Corrections for a home remodeling scheme.

Missouri Attorney General Catherine Hanaway says in a news release Brandon Ward, owner of Insight Contractors, was sentenced Friday in Camden County Circuit Court for deceptive business practice and stealing.

Ward pleaded guilty to his charges earlier this month. In 2022, two victims paid Ward over $61,000 up-front to remodel their properties, but he performed minimal work before completely abandoning the projects, according to the release. Ward is also required to pay the amount stolen back to the victims.
