A Braymer woman was injured after she suffered an auto accident early Friday monring in Caldwell County.

According to a report from the Highway Patrol, the driver, 51, was headed north on Route A about 5 miles north of Braymer just before 5:45 a.m. when she attempted to manuever around a deer in the roadway.

The woman’s Jeep traveled off the east side of the road and struck a barbed wire fence before coming to rest.

The woman was moderaltely injured and was transported by ambulance to Cameron Regional Medical Center for treatment.
