BOISE, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — Gov. Brad Little says “Operation No Return” has removed dozens of people in the country illegally, according to a news release from the governor’s office.

The program removes those who were convicted of crimes from Idaho communities by transferring them to federal custody after they complete their sentences.

The initiative, funded through the governor’s emergency funds, directs the Idaho State Police (ISP) to take individuals from county jails and transport them to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) under a 287(g) agreement, rather than release them back into Idaho.

The Governor’s office created a new online dashboard that includes mugshots of criminals that have been removed.
