EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Welborn Baptist Foundation is celebrating 25 years of community work in Evansville.

During today’s event, community partners learned about foundation’s past and plans for the future.

Group leaders say that over the past 25 years, they’ve invested around $134 million into the community.

Welborn Baptist Foundation CEO Pat Creech says the most crucial part of the past 25 years are the partners they had along the way.

“We know that there will always be a need for relief because needs will always be present in a community,” Creech says. “But the more we can work together to try to create solutions that change the status quo, the less need there will be to meet needs in the future, so that’s what together we’re all about.“
