GRAND CANYON, Arizona (ABC4) — Water and fire restrictions have eased for Grand Canyon National Park, though some limitations are remaining in place.
This year, Grand Canyon National Park experienced the largest fire in the continental United States, with the Dragon Bravo Fire burning over 134,000 acres and damaging over 100 structures on the North Rim.
Due to the high winds and dry conditions over the summer, fire and water restrictions were implemented for the Grand Canyon National Park to prevent more fires and to prevent the Dragon Bravo Fire spreading further.
