(NEXSTAR) – Gas just got a little cheaper for Amazon Prime members – at least on one day of the week.

Starting Oct. 17 and lasting until Dec. 26, Prime members can save 25 cents per gallon on Fridays.

The discount comes just in time for the holidays, and may change the way some motorists plan out their refueling stops.

In order to take advantage of the deal, Prime members need to link their Amazon account to the BP app earnify by visiting the Amazon fuel savings page. The app can be used to find participating BP, Amoco and ampm locations. At the pump, just use your phone number, linked payment method or the earnify app. The app allows customers to select the gas station and pump number they are using.
