SOLON SPRINGS, Wis. (Northern News Now) - Months after a damaging fire at a Solon Springs restaurant, the owners have been arrested on arson charges.

Steven and Kimberly Kastern appeared on the Douglas County Jail roster Friday evening.

They were booked into the jail Friday morning on several charges, including arson.

The two owned Hog Wild BBQ and Smokehouse, located off Highway 53 in Solon Springs.

The restaurant opened in 2020, but then went up in flames in June of this year.

A post on the restaurant’s Facebook page from June 11 says, “We are saddened to share that a fire occurred at our establishment last night. Thankfully, no one was injured.
