The Hancock College football team will play a Northern League game at Moorpark Saturday at 4 p.m.

It's a game the Bulldogs likely need to win when it comes to their prospects of having a post-season.

A win would put the Bulldogs (3-3, 2-1) above .500 overall with three games left in their regular season after Saturday. A 6-4 finish or better, based on years past, would make the chances for a Hancock bowl game appearance look pretty good.

A 5-5 finish or worse, which will be a lot more likely if the Bulldogs lose Saturday, would make Hancock's prospects for a bowl appearance a lot more dim.

The Raiders (2-4, 1-2) also need this one if they are to stay in the thick of the hunt for a bowl game. The teams did play each other in a bowl game recently, the Strawberry Bowl at Hancock in 2022,
