Man, woman found dead in car in Armour Square

Two people were found dead inside a vehicle in Armour Square in a murder-suicide shooting Friday night.

About 7:07 p.m., officers found a man and woman inside a vehicle in the 300 block of West 31st Street, both with gunshot wounds to the head, police said.

The two were unresponsive and pronounced dead at the scene. A firearm was found at the scene, police said.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office ruled the woman’s death a homicide and the man’s death a suicide. Their names were not released.
