NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — We’ve got one more warm and mostly dry stretch to get through before things turn stormy. High pressure remains in control through Saturday afternoon, keeping the weather quiet with highs climbing into the upper 80s. Skies stay mostly clear and humidity will start creeping up as moisture increases ahead of our next front.
By Saturday night, a strong cold front begins pushing through the area, and that’s when the weather takes a more active turn. Look for storms to begin moving in after sunset and closer to midnight.
