ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A St. Louis line cook is working to get by without his car after it was stolen last month while he was working. Now, the restaurant where he works is trying to get him a ride again.

As the orders come in at Stacked Burger Bar at its Carondelet or Central West End locations, there’s a flurry of activity as the food gets made, assembled and served. It’s part of a normal shift for line cook Calvin Hurd.

But it was after a shift like this last month that didn’t have a desired outcome.

“Came out from work, getting off, boom, car gone,” Hurd said.

This happened at the end of September in the Patch neighborhood in South City. It was a car Calvin had long saved up for and just paid off. Calvin said his car hasn’t been found.
